How do I keep my soy wax candles maintained?
Before burning, always trim the wooden wick to 1/8 inch. Keep the wax pool clear. Always use a candle holder, it should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax. Burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Never burn a candle for longer than three hours, cool for at least two hours before relighting.
Never leave a candle unattended, keep it away from anything that can catch fire. Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets. Don't burn a candle all the way down. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish a candle, it's the safest way to prevent wax from splattering.

Where does the Pooch & Zen name come from?
Pooch stands for the playful, loyal nature of dogs, while Zen represents the serene, present-moment and chill essence of cats.
Inspired by Alan Watts' teachings, the name captures the balance of joy, calm, and wackiness that both types of pets bring to our lives.
Think of it as "Pooch & Cat" in spirit, blending the spunky all-in charm of dogs with the calm but also spicy wisdom of cats.
